MFW: Fendi Spring-Summer 2015

I was truly amazed at the Fendi SS15 show. An asian isnpired show? We could believe so at looking at the design of the flowers, between indian and chinese style… What is sure is the japanese technique of origami which has been once again (see my reviews of New York and especially Carolina Herrera) used for the cut of flowers out of a very fine leather. This is to me the masterpiece of the show. This little white strapless dress with embossed flowers  is my favorite look of the collection. This show is all about graphic lines as usually with Fendi, and this time Karl also uses kaleidoscop pattern in shades of blue to create a unique, modern and original silhouette. The originality of this collection is also enhanced by these kind of fringes that were cut out from some jackets and I loved this. Plus, let’s not forget the jodhpurs and denim and all together, the silhouette is so set for a road trip! Feathers close the show, paying a tribute to the savoir-faire of the ateliers.

Accessories I loved: the mini-bags that we can attach on the wrist, the pony-tails that actually become croco-tails and ALLthe sandals which were ravishing!

Fashion innovation: dresses and jackets worn under some transparent fabric (plastic??) that give an glittering and fashionable aspect.
