Christian Dior Spring/Summer 2014

Back to traditional Rodin Museum to host the Dior show Spring-Summer 2014. The theme is also faithful to the history of the fashion house , centered around the woman-flower who was the central pillar of Chrsitian Dior and his main source of inspiration. After collection at least surprising and shocking by their modernity and innovation, Raf Simons presents a collection still in the era of time if not futuristic but remains faithful to the original meaning of Dior . Flowers so, and how much ! The show takes place in one of the most outstanding gardens of the capital, the garden of the Musée Rodin, flowers falling around and take us back to the first couture collection by Raf Simons Fall-Winter 2012 where walls flowers had been prepared. Flowers again for couture spring-summer 2013.  The printed this summer is very impressionist , blue, orange and yellow flowers on a light blue background. Some looks are classic, finally specific to Raf Simons as black tuxedo closing the show … Small revolution as usual by Raf Simons for Dior, with new generation dresses that are presented asymmetrical as usual , pleated skirts and dresses with a range effect to the waist and shoulders , the pleat is really the guideline of the collection , evening dresses worked with sequins forming flower petals … dresses in the final silver present all the shapes used by Raf for his collections, ranking from mini dresses on pants cigarette, hyper light dresses and bell -shaped volume with black tops …  All the looks from the show denote some universal culture as for the couture collection of July. Asian inspirations with hyper structures worked in the manner of traditional Japanese costumes, European-inspired with the famous tailor Bar by Raf.  Private tribute to the flower that stands well in line of Christian Dior, big fan of flowers, modernizing his style that appears timeless while keeping the codes that constitue the renown of the House.
